Welcome to Mini Cottage Creations

I’m Sara, the creative mind and maker behind this small but passionate business. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing Design and Manufacture and years of experience in the fashion industry in New York and London, my journey has been one of creativity, craftsmanship, and evolution.

Working in the fast-paced fashion world, I developed a deep appreciation for design, quality, and the art of working with fabrics. After years in the industry, I moved to Glasgow, where I worked in a fabric shop and discovered a new passion for textiles. Surrounded by beautiful materials every day, I was inspired to design my own fabrics, have them printed locally in the UK, and use them to create bespoke soft furnishings for the home.

Honoring my Scottish heritage is a key part of my work. I love incorporating Harris Tweed into my creations, a material steeped in tradition and known for its exceptional quality. By blending this iconic fabric with my contemporary designs, I craft pieces that are both timeless and unique, celebrating Scotland’s rich cultural legacy.

At Mini Cottage Creations, I create a variety of handmade furnishings, including footstools, cushions, lampshades, tables and stools. My work has been featured in prestigious publications such as Vogue, Tatler, House and Garden, and The World of Interiors, reflecting the care and artistry that goes into every piece.

I’m delighted to offer free UK mainland delivery on all orders. For international customers, I regularly ship to the US, Canada, Australia, and beyond.
